Khabane "Khaby" Lame is a Senegalese-born social media personality renowned for his silent comedic videos on TikTok. Born on March 9, 2000, in Senegal, he moved to Chivasso, Turin, Italy, with his family at a young age. Before his rise to fame, Khaby worked as a factory worker but was laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic. This turn of events led him to explore content creation on TikTok. ​

Khaby's content primarily involves wordless reactions to overly complicated "life hack" videos, where he humorously demonstrates simpler solutions. His unique approach resonated globally, propelling him to become TikTok's most-followed creator by June 2022. As of September 2024, he boasts over 162.8 million followers on the platform. ​


In recognition of his influence, Khaby has secured collaborations with prominent brands, notably becoming a brand ambassador for Hugo Boss in January 2021. He also launched his first capsule collection with the brand in 2022. Beyond fashion, he was appointed as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in early 2025, aiming to leverage his platform to address global issues and inspire children.
